What is it?
A new sketch comedy show from “Saturday Night Live” alum Tim Robinson, “I Think You Should Leave” made us laugh so hard after recommending it as a comedy sketch to watch while really stoned, that it deserves another mention. Robinson’s brand of absurd, surreal, reverse-logic humor is on full display in each sketch (many of which were rejected sketches from Robinson’s “SNL” days).
Why Watch High?
Most sketches beginning with one insufferable character slowly contaminating the rest of the sketch with their wild idiocy. It’s a gleefully precise, yet anarchic format that’s sure to click with stoned viewers.

“I Think You Should Leave” premiered on Netflix back in April, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t take the time to recommend the latest, greatest, and funniest high watch from the mammoth streaming service.
‘Vox Lux’ — Hulu
What is it?
A criminally overlooked movie from 2018 that chronicles the extreme highs and lows of an aging pop star’s life, starring Natalie Portman in one of her absolute finest (and surely dankest) performances to date.
Why Watch High?
In addition to the tour de force turn from Portman, Director Brady Corbet‘s hypnotic visual approach to the story, which brashly explores a shocking connection between celebrity and terrorism in America, makes “Vox Lux” a powerful hypersensory experience under the influence of a mild edible.

‘Black Mirror’ Season 5 — Netflix
What is it?
Everyone’s favorite sci-fi anthology series, specializing in unrelenting, nightmarish, “Twilight Zone”-esque dissections of all the technological anxieties that ail us in the 21st century.
Why Watch High?
Well into its massively successful run on Netflix, “Black Mirror” has built a sizable reputation for the type of trippy sci-fi ruminations (and gorgeously high production values) that the stoned mind is sure to devour like candy.

“Black Mirror” ’s fifth season is scheduled to debut on Netflix on June 5, 2019.
‘A Star is Born’ — HBO
What is it?
Bradley Cooper wrote, directed, and starred in this gorgeously executed, Oscar-nominated Hollywood vanity project. Lady Gaga slays as the titular rising star, a pop singer whose romance with Cooper’s aging rock star sets the stage for this sweeping ode to the prestige, star-powered dramas of Hollywood’s golden age.
Why watch high?
On the surface, “A Star is Born” may not sound like a stoner’s ideal high-watch. But listen, Bradley Cooper directs the fuck out of this movie — taking what might have been a stale Oscar-bait musical and turning it into an intoxicating trip of vivid, dreamlike imagery and enrapturing performances from its stars (especially from Lady Gaga, whose one-in-a-million voice is on full display throughout the film’s soundtrack). Best to smoke a bowl of your favorite hazy flower and take it all in.

‘Vice’ — Hulu
What is it?
The Oscar-contending gonzo-biopic of former Vice President Dick Cheney, starring Christian Bale as the Vice himself, and directed by Adam McKay.
Why Watch High?
For our 2019 Weedmaps News Stoned Oscars, we awarded “Vice” the title of Screenplay Most Likely Written Under the Influence. Did McKay actually write the entire “Vice” screenplay while baked? We don’t know. But the movie’s wild, darkly comic structure does make it feel like a lively, entertaining political conversation you might have with your hip-stoner uncle during a sesh.

Do a dab or two and check out “Vice” on Hulu starting June 10, 2019.
‘Too Old to Die Young’ — Amazon Prime
What is it?
A new series from Nicolas Winding Refn, director of such new-cult films as “Drive” and “Only God Forgives,” exploring the criminal underworld of a highly stylized, neon-drenched fantasy version of Los Angeles.
Why Watch High?
Be forewarned: Refn’s movies are highly divisive and typically ultra-violent, and his new series of 10, 90-minute episodes is sure to be a challenging (if not rewarding) endurance test. But from the looks of the show’s Twitter campaign, “Too Old to Die Young” may also offer some intoxicating audiovisual catharsis for your next heavy binge-and-smoke sesh.
