One of the fashion world’s most luxurious retailers are now bringing a touch of class to the legal cannabis market.

The department store chain Barneys New York is teaming up with several premium cannabis companies to launch their very own legal dispensary known as “The High End.”

“Barneys New York has always been at the forefront of shifts in culture and lifestyle, and cannabis is no exception,” said Daniella Vitale, Chief Executive Officer & President, Barneys New York, in a statement. “Many of our customers have made cannabis a part of their lifestyle, and The High End caters to their needs with extraordinary products and service they experience in every facet of Barneys New York.”

Partnering with Los Angeles-based cannabis company Beboe, the High End will feature top-shelf cannabis and vape pens from Sherbinski, an influential Bay Area cultivator known for creating the “Louis Vuitton of marijuana.”

The High End will also offer all types of deluxe smoker’s paraphernalia, including Devambez rolling papers made from organically grown French hemp and hand-blown water pipes by  California glassware artists Siemon and Salazar.

Meanwhile, prices for stash boxes by the jewelry designer Martine Ali and joint holders by Good Art Hlywd will trend toward the premium. For example, a sterling silver pot grinder will retail for $1,475.

Although the High End won’t carry a state or local license to sell cannabis, they will have “dummy” pot products shown at the store, which will be available for purchase and delivered through Beboe’s partner, Emjay.

“I’m so thrilled that cannabis culture has come so far that it can exist and feel perfectly at home in such a prestigious context as Barneys New York. Barneys has never been shy about pushing creative boundaries in retail, and it makes perfect sense that they would be the first to support and elevate cannabis to new levels,” said Beboe co-founder Scott Campbell.

The High End is scheduled to open at the Beverly Hills Barneys location in March, with other locations in California to follow. Barneys may also introduce the head shop in other states, including New York, if and when recreational cannabis becomes legal there.
