New week, new issue that marijuana can potentially help with in the body.
This one is Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which isn’t much of a surprise because marijuana and CBD do a great job with helping bring down inflammation.
A new study focused on IBD from Case Western Reserve University that put out a survey to patients asking what helped them with their symptoms. Over 50% said cannabis offered “relief from abdominal pain, other pain, stress, anxiety, depression, and nausea/vomiting.”
The authors of the study claimed that weed and CBD had similar effects to prescribed medication.
We’ve seen similar positive results for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
