However, over the years wages have caught up and what once was a prosperous way to live has become basically minimum wage earning.

However, the hikes are expected in a field that requires specialized knowledge and sales skills. This is especially the case in states that only have medical marijuana — a job that then implies medical expertise.
As with every industry, higher pay equals higher level employees, and staying competitive is getting more difficult over time.
One business owner tells MJBizDaily, “It’s just going to be another blow to these businesses. It’s why we need federal reform. If businesses could get rid of 280E, they could pay their employees more.”
