FAIRFAX, Okla. (AP) — The operator of one of Oklahoma’s first medical marijuana businesses said he’s selling all of the seedlings he can produce.

Scott Huffman owns Wild Herb LLC in Fairfax, about 89 miles, or 143 kilometers, northeast of Oklahoma City. Huffman said the business produces about 40 cannabis seedlings a week and planned to sell seedlings to as many as 30 patients in mid-October 2018.

Huffman’s business was among the first to apply for a medical cannabis license after Oklahoma voters approved its use June 26, 2018. Huffman said his business sold its first seedling Sept. 24, 2018, and planned to produce about 1,000 seedlings a week by the end of the year.

Licensed medical marijuana patients can possess up to 8 ounces, or 226.8 grams, of marijuana, six mature plants, and six seedlings.
